Over the course of the year-long National Guard OCS program, Officer Candidates participate in a 6-, 9- and 12-mile ruck -- along with several other physical events, such as a timed 4-mile run. Candidates must complete each event in a certain timeframe with at least a 35lb ruck. OCS Class 65 completed their 9-mile ruck in September. In preparation for our final 12-mile ruck, Officer Candidates are pledging to ruck various distances based on their fundraising.

Prepare yourself for a day of raffles, prizes, surprise celebrity messages, great food, and a full 18-hole set while raising funds to support North Carolina's future military officers! The inaugural "Minuteman Cup" Golf Tournament will take place at the Tanglewood Golf Club in Clemmons, North Carolina, and will be "captain's choice" style. Arrival time will be at 8 a.m., with tee off at 9 a.m. A cook-out, prizes, and announcements will take place at the Tanglewood pavilion at 2 p.m.
